I purchased this item as backup device for storing photos. My brother informs me that Kingston makes the best flash drives and is the brand he uses for his work. I am confident that it will perform as advertised.

- It's sorta flimsy plastic, but I'm not playing football with the thing
Very impressed with the speed and ease of this litte USB Flash Drive. I got it to transfer files between my Acer Aspire One netbook and my home computer. Excellent speed at copying and transferring.

The plastic does feel a little cheap, but I haven't had problems with it yet and it's extremely unlikely that I will be wrestling or playing football with it in my pocket. If you need your flash drive to withstand rough housing this probably isn't the drive for you. I'd buy another Kingston in a second.

- Plastic Loop Broke in 2 days
I attached this USB drive to my company ID and lanyard. The green loop that you see on the top side (which is intended to allow you to carry the USB drive on the end of a tethering device) broke off in 2 days. It is very thin, weak plastic. Now I have to just tote the drive around in my laptop bag. Pretty low price, so I got what I paid for.

- Great On Windows XP, Dosen't work on Win.98
This 4gb kingston pen drive works Great on Windows XP.Easy to use,Just
plug it into my usb 2.0 laptop connection, and within a minute it was
formated and ready to use. I Would of given this 5 stars, but the Fact
that it is a nightmare to set up for Windows 98SE, And the kingston website tells you to use a third party driver if theres dosent work turned me off. I had the same type of pen drive in PNY,a 2gb, AND they made sure the driver on their web site worked for win.98.

Pros. 1)Just plug it in and quickly recognized on xp.

2) I find the speed to be fine for me, Tho i dont copy many files
under 1mb.Handled 600mb of files in about 2 minutes.
3) I like the cap, it makes a nice click when closed, and is super tight

Cons. Like i said just the windows 98 thing , and if your into the bright
light flashing while in use, well its not that bright, BUT I dont care.
