Easy fast release from the Garmin makes this appealing and the low profile allows it to be stored in the glove compartment. Heavy enough to not slip on the dashboard while driving. The Garmin cover needs to come off entirely for the mount to work. If charging the Garmin with the car charger, the location of the port and the mount is awkward.

This product works great for me & my nuvi and my smart car. There is no window residue of a mark which is a tell tale sign that a GPS device is inside. So far, I have been lucky and my GPS hasn't been stolen from the car. The bean bag is secure enough for DC traffic (stop & go and crazy intersections), so my guess it would be good for anyone in the country. Highly recommended.

Works like a gem, at least in my small Toyota truck. Has yet to move on freeway or street driving despite a hard cornering, hard braking driver.

It works GREAT and is easier to see then having the GPS hang from the window. You need to get one!

I bought a Garmin GPS and figured it'd be nice to have this mount since I don't have a car and actually use zip car (rental cars) a lot.
It works great. And it is easy to put away. The bean bag is heavy enough to stay in place, though a few times it did fall off the dash and my GPS fell off the mount. Maybe it was the dash of the car that we were renting at that time, it never happened with the many other cars that we drove.
For those who don't like to leave a mount on the windshield, it is definitely a great buy. (Especially knowing a few of my friends had their cars broken into because of the GPS mount they left on the dash, it is much safer to have it hidden.)
I highly recommend this item.
