This simple device is simply the "cat's meow." It fits easily on the dashboard, stays in place and makes the GPS truly portable. The best part is that there are no more little circle on your windshield glass that let's thieves know that there may be a GPS in your car (even if you have taken it in the house with you) which will save you a broken window. I would highly recommend this mount.

This wonderful invention is exactly what I was needing when I bought one for my combination handheld GPS and navigation GPS. It stays put on my dash without moving even in heavy braking/turning situations...yet, to switch it to another vehicle you just pick it up and walk away...I even set it on the floor out of sight in areas where the GPS may be more likely to be stolen. I love it so much I just bought another for my parents Nuvi.

This dashboard mount remains in one place and does not move no matter how I drive.
I did not want to stick anything on my windscreen and I think I won't have to.
It's portable and the cost is reasonable.
It doesn't look that great... but it doesn't have to be on the dashboard all the time.

Well if 1679 positive reviews can't convince you, perhaps 1680?. This product is awesome. I along with others was dubious that it wouldn't slide around, but it held tight! Short stops, going around a curve, etc. My instinct was to grab for it so it wouldn't slide, but there was no reason. I would highly recommend this for three reasons.
1. works fantastic!
2. portability between cars
and 3. leaves no ring on windshield for dead giveaway to thieves that a GPS in in the car.

This is the most durable, affordable, convenient, and workable GPS dashboard mount imaginable. I even took it with me when I went on vacation to use in the rental car. It easily eliminates theft by making the GPS easily movable to another area of the car to get it out of view. I highly recommend this product and can't imagine my nuvi without it. Get it! You will love it too!
