This shredder feels like a solid, well made machine. When I feed more into it at a time, it slows down, giving me a gauge as to how much I can feed. The big commercial shredder at work grabs everything at full-speed and, if it's too much, just stops. I'm extremely pleased. Of course the bargain price didn't hurt either.

For the price tag, this is the best value I have found. It doesn't really shred 8 pages at a time (unless it is super thin paper like credit card receipts or the like). But, the capacity more than makes up for it!! I have a tremendous amount of shredables (probably > 200 bags worth!) because I have been going through the cheap shredders like crazy. I admit I had my doubts, I'm one that thought the more expensive shredders were just bigger and more expensive versions of the smaller crappy models. But I am finally getting rid of this mountain of shredables thanks to this shredder. I shred between 1-2 bags a day (well over the 160 page-per-day it advertises) and have NO PROBLEMS! The value has already surpassed its purchase price!

I am very pleased with this product and have not experienced any problems with jamming. It gives you a guide for thickness so as to not "overfeed" it. Use it regularly and have used it extensively since I bought it and am pleased with its performance.

Taking in consideration the price and if you are planning to use it just for home, I will strongly recommend buying this shredder.
