I have had a little experience with GPS devices and this one did everything the product said and was very easy to use. My only complaint is a lack of instruction manual. For the money you pay, you should have a manual that you can carry. The Adobe file is fine but if, like me, you leave your computer behind it would be a great addition. It does not have a long life (battery power) if you leave the screen on all the time. It may if the screen is turned off but we only had about 3 hours without doing that. It did use a lot of power if connected to the blue tooth on your cell phone. My cell phone died very early when paired. Other than those complaints, I have used it quite a bit and find it easy to use when you are using the "Where to?" feature. The touch screen is very responsive and the computer generated voice is not unpleasant.

Work's great and I received one free map update from Garmin. Very accurate and useful. The only issue I have is that the built in speaker is loud enough for navigation but not for talking on the phone using Bluetooth. It does have a speaker jack like an Ipod so if you have a jack in your car, it will work just fine. Also, since it is a discontinued model, Amazon has a great deal on it at $299

I take this everywhere, wouldn't leave home without it. Very easy to set up, user friendly, charge lasts quite a while. The Bluetooth link was very convenient and works great. Occasionally it will not recognize streets, but quickly recalculates to get you on a different route. Great to use out of town (as well as the little known streets in town.) Good
to use the phone numbers listed for businesses to call ahead with questions. Hungry for Mexican? Look it up under "FOOD." Check out closest convenience stores, malls, or something to eat. Much more than just a GPS.

- I really like this little device.
This GPS is a replacement for my cell phone GPS subscription, which turned really squirly.
Although I haven't yet given the nuvi GPS a workout in travel, I have been very pleased with the 2 auxiliary services, Bluetooth and MP3. The unit started up with ease right out of the box. I can make clear, hands-free mobile calls and listen to my current Audible book through my FM radio speakers.
The interface is well thought out and a pleasure to use. Obviously some "real people" consumers were involved in the design of this little unit, and not just techie engineers.
If there's a significant flaw in this nuvi, I haven't yet found it. If there is a feature it lacks, I really don't need it.
Overall, I couldn't be happier.
