I have tried BM twice now, and it just does not work for me. I moisturize and use primer, the makeup never looks right. I cannot blend it to match my skin tone, it rests heavy in my pores and makes my skin look "dirty". More to the point, it makes a mess in my bathroom. I do love that it is a powder versus a traditional foundation - but that's the only plus for me...as for whatever reason, the makeup irritates my skin a bit upon application (maybe the brushes). Overall, it does not work for me at all and I will be returning it to Sephora. Hope you have better luck!

I have VERY oily skin that breaks out so I started using BE hoping to get better coverage than my liquid foundation. Well...It looks great right after you "buff" it on. It leaves a soft finish, feels like nothing at all, and takes just seconds to apply - much better than having to use my make up sponge to blend for 10 minutes! I use the concealer brush on my nose to get rid of the powder settled into pores look and on my forehead to get rid of the powder settled into the furrow lines look (I'm in my late 20's, so not too many lines). Sounds good so far, but the problem comes about 2 hours after I put it on. The powder settles back into any fine lines, if I wear sunglasses they leave two little spots on the bridge of my nose where the sunglasses rested, and because of my oily skin, the powder starts to look streaky on my nose and forehead. After about 4 hours, I have to rebuff some foundation on and use more mineral veil or I'll be super shiny and streaky. In the winter, the powder ends up all over my jacket collars - it has NO staying power at all. Basically, BE is perfect for people with perfect skin (not dry, not oily) who don't have high collars on their jackets!

My skin is super sensitive, ruddy, dry, and has the beginnings of rosacea. Hence, when some friends recommended I try this makeup, I was curious but skeptical. Would this foundation stand up to my ruddy complexion?

It did that and more. Not six months after I switched to bareMinerals foundation, my rosacea was visibly gone. The tense, stressed skin has (in addition to switching some to some new face products as well) has calmed significantly, and the makeup is so easy to apply. There's beautiful, even coverage that stays put and doesn't melt in the summertime. Oh, and let's not forget the addition of SPF in this makeup - key for a lass of Scotch-Irish heritage such as myself. :)

This is the best makeup I've ever had. The look is so natural I always get compliments on it. It feels and looks light not heavy and overdone.
