Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Not perfect, but pretty close
I love this stuff! It makes my skin look smooth and clear, what I would call "airbrushed". It lasts all day and doesn't need touch ups. I also find that this make up photographs well.

A few tips:

1. If you have dry skin, you need to moisturize before applying this. It is a fine powder. It's not drying in and of itself, but if you have dry flakes on your skin, this product will exacerbate them

2. Colors blend very nicely so if you buy the "wrong shade" you can buy another and mix them together to correct the problem

3. Use the brushes that bare minerals sells. They are expensive but they apply the product correctly

4. Sadly, this powder can be messy and spill. I store my containers upright on my shelf. If you toss the cannisters around too much, you might end up spilling minerals all over your counter top when you twist off the top

5. Buy one of the all over colors (like true radiance or clear radiance). The all over color on top of the foundation looks beautiful and fresh

- not so great for sensitive skin
I wouldn't recommend this product for truly sensitive skin. The quality of my skin degraded when I used this product--within a few days of use, the most sensitive areas of my face got a little blotchy (reddish), and the skin around my nose as well as between my nose and upper lip became persistently itchy. I think that most people will love this product--the first day that I used it, it went on so silky. It felt so light and my face looked finished. If you think that you might have sensitive skin, you'll probably be fine--but if you know that you have really sensitive skin, beware.

I have been using bareMinerals for 3 years now and love it. The first thing I purchased was the kit with a few different foundations, brushes and the mineral veil. It lasts forever (meaning I've only had to buy it I think one other time) and I put on at least the foundation and mineral veil everyday. The brushes feel are of such a high quality and really do make my face look flawless. People tell me all the time how wonderful my skin is, but it's not really that nice. I just let them think that it is!

This is the first foundation that I have every used regularly. I have dry sensitive skin so I stay away from most products. This is not only easy to wear but I found perfect color match for my pale complexion.

It is light and has good coverage. It is not a perfect skin match though, so it takes a little longer to apply. I do like this product though!
