I have extremely sensitive skin, most foundations cause break outs and others seem thick, cakey, or uneven. This is the best foundation I have ever used! It goes on smooth, soft and covers well with no streaking, clumping or discoloration. It looks like my own skin while concealing all my blemishes. I wear this for at least 16 hours a day and not once do I need to reapply. I also use the blush which is just as great! I have olive skin in the summer but fair skin in the winter. I use the fair foundation and it matches my face perfectly.

this product definitely delivers. its a lightweight foundation powder that conceals and accentuates. i find that by end of day it can tend to get a little greasy/worn off, but by and large still holds better than any other foundation ive used. ill definitely continue to use this product.

After H.S ended I stopped wearing foundation because the only reason I wore was to cover up acne but the problem is sometimes it just causes more, besides that it feels...I dont even remember what liquid foundation feels like. For about 6-8 years I stopped wearing make up. My sister tried BE she said it was great and would recommended it. So I was like ok I'll try it. I'm actually happy I tried it. As I type this I'm actually wearing BE. Once again I'm back to wearing make up doesnt feel like i'm wearing any make up. another good thing that I liked was they dont test on animals. I wont wear anything that tests on animals so that was another plus. For some people it might be horrible cause not everyone has the same reaction, what I think they should do is have sample jars. I love it though (and I barely say I love anything) I get my BE every 4-6 months so I'm good to go.

The only thing I didnt like was the Brushes they shed and scratched my face. The concealer was good that brush I do like. So I am currently looking for new soft cruelity free brushes.

I was interested in trying the Bare Escentuals products after I went with my roommate for a consultation. I bought a number of products because I LOVED the way my skin looked in the store. It evened out the scars left behind from acne and just made my skin look fresh. However, after using this product for about a week, I developed red bumps in the area near my lower lip and chin. I went to the dermatologist and turns out that the Bare Escentuals products were to blame. My doc prescribed two topical medications and the dermatitis went away. I haven't tried the product since then, but don't think that I will given what happened last time and the reviews of others with sensitive skin. A lot of my friends and coworkers use this product and I always admire the flawlessness of their skin, but it just doesn't work for me.

The best substitute I have found is the Super Moisture Liquid Foundation by Clinique. I hate that its a liquid but it works for me. It doesn't irritate my dry, sensitive skin and gives it a similar look to Bare Escentuals.
