Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - the best foundation I have ever tried
This is the best foundation I have ever tried. Thinking that perhaps a less expensive mineral foundation would work, I have tried mineral makeup by Loreal and Physician's Formula. I have been disappointed in both situations. Nothing goes on as light and natural as Bare Minerals.

One tip: Use a light, airy brush for application (a blush brush like the "flawless face" brush) in addition to the small concealer brush for spot coverage. This makes for a light finish. Using a stiff brush will make any mineral makeup looked caked on, and increase line visibility rather than reduce it!
My one complaint is the packaging. I hate that you have to screw the lids on and off and that loose powder sometimes gets scattered everywhere when you are doing this. No matter how neat you try to be, you will eventually have a moment where powder gets on surfaces and clothing it shouldn't be on. Wish the company would fix this, I know I am not the first to complain about it.
Love Bare Minerals. I would sell it myself if I could!

Quality of product was excellent as described. Powder is light and easy to apply on. Has not caused any breakouts since first use. Will definitely continue to purchase this foundation after I finsh using this current one. Highly recommended!

This product is amazing! I use to have to pile on the makeup but now this is all I use and it gives me a flawless and natural look. It is also good to my skin! I ran out of this powder and had to switch back to my old powder from the department store and I kept breaking out. As soon as I switched back to bareminerals I noticed such an improvement in my skin within a day! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS!!! Just make sure when putting it on you swish your brush around in the cap to get the excess off and brush on your face lightly.

Excellent product. I swear by Bare Escentuals. It feels like I'm not wearing makeup, but at the same time, providing the coverage I need. There is no line of demarcation...very natural. I love it.

I have been using Bare Escentuals for about a year and a half now and I absolutely have fallen in love with it. In that year and a half, I am just now finishing up my 3rd container of the foundation and I wear it everyday. So one thing to keep in mind when considering the cost is that it does last for quite a long time. One thing that I didn't like at first is that it seemed to dry out my skin quite badly (and I had oily skin). So to counteract that I started washing and moisturizing my face before applying and that got rid of all the overdrying affects. My skin had so many acne problems, but after using it for awhile, it has greatly helped my skin. It is not near as oily as it used to be, and I only get breakouts about once a month. It evens out my skin tone while still looking very natural and not cakey or fake. I absolutely love it!
