I cannot stand the feel of liquid makeup but tolerated it for years. I never found any that had the right color and/or coverage, lasting wear, etc. Finally, after watching BE on QVC for years decided to give it a try. It is the BEST ever! I couldn't believe it! Where I want a bit more coverage, such as my dark circles or larger pores around my nose area, I apply some foundation with my finger then I use the swirl, tap, and buff method over that and finish with the Mineral Veil powder. It lasts beyond an entire work day for me! If you do perspire it will become whitish where it gets wet but just dab with a cloth or paper towel and it immediately goes back to perfect! No streaks etc. as long as you pat over it. In the fall and winter I really don't have to worry about that. Anyway if you've been on the fence just give it a try. I know no one product works for every person but for me this has been the answer! The prices on QVC are terrific and you can get auto delivery as well. They also have special kits that are not available anywhere else as well as easy pay on many of them. I don't work for QVC, just a very satisfied customer!

Best makeup product I have ever used! I have used Bare Minerals for the last four years and will not use anything else. I am a mature skin type, when applied I am always pleased with my results.

I have used this stuff for 2 years thinking its "good" for my skin! only to find out after some research (finding the ingredients was a task in itself), that it contains a lead byproduct that irritates and causes breakouts! how annoying!!! they claim its "natural" and free of chemicals, bull!!!! there are other mineral make-ups out there that do not contain bismuth oxychloride. [...]. If you have problem/blemished skin, i would avoid this bismuth oxychloride, as it states it specifically "can" cause break-outs. uggg....

The way I tried BE is by purchasing the introductory boxed set that had several colors, brushes and a video on how to use it. I used BE for an entire week following the video instructions exactly. I use a good skin care regimen (cleanse-tone-moisturize) to make sure my skin was properly prepared, and all to no success. IT MADE MY PORES LOOK HUGE. It accentuated fine lines. It made my skin appear overly shiny. It clogged my pores. I tried to make it work, but finally gave up and sent it back. I did end up liking the Mineral Veil powder applied as a finishing powder over my regular foundation (rather than over their foundation). It is very translucent and easy to apply. The rest of the BE products really were a lot more hype than substance in my opinion. I tried the eyeliner powder too, and it really irritated my eyes.
