Product is great! I think it's technically meant for pets, but it's awesome for kids and is cheaper to boot! I think it's sturdier than some of the toddler ones too. We separate ours into 2-4 piece sections to keep our little one out of dangerous areas (around the fireplace bricks, around the TV and all its components, etc).

It works great for outdoors or around stairs. It is really bulky and difficult to move around.

We bought this play yard for our new Dalmatian puppy and it's been a lifesaver! The only thing I had to do was bungy cord it to something else so the puppy couldn't push it and move it along the tile floor. It's built very sturdy. Our puppy loves this play yard and it gives him plenty of room to move around. I highly recommend!!!!

Well-made play area for pre-toddlers. Right height to "step over" and be with them if they get cranky. Identical item was in my local pet shop at almost twice the price!

well, i'm not as impressed with this gate as most of the other reviewers seem to be. it does seem durable enough, though perhaps a little too much so -- it's almost impossible to open and close it. i've given in to just always stepping over it, which is a pain, especially with a baby, and sometimes more, in my arms. it's very heavy and NOT something you will easily be able to move from room to room. i'm also not certain of how hard it will be for my son to knock it over when he gets a little older and a little stronger...
lastly, it's pretty much necessary to buy the extension, b/c the space is just too small without it. which is annoying.
