- Absolutely Useless
Bought these phones to add extra phones in the house. Completely useless. Can't get them to pick up when people call, can't get them to dial tone when wanting to place a call. Went through configuration and setup, no trouble shooting steps. Error says "no connection to base, reconnect AC adapter" Spend you money elsewhere.

These are great phones for the price. They arrived quickly and programming them was very easy. However, I'm a little unhappy about not being able get a number from any of the phones caller ID if it is currently in use

The Panasonic Dect 6.0, 3 handheld system works as advertised. Sound is fine with no iterference. The range is great, much better than expected from reading other reviews. The intercom is especially handy and easy to use. I like the voice mail indicators. If you don't need an answering machine, this is the way to go. I particularly like the fact that the rechargeable batteries are AAA, and easily available. Battery life is about one week before a recharge. I would definitely purchase it again.

If you are going to buy a DECT phone (no matter which brand) I would suggest you be sure to purchase from a place that has a great return policy. This technology seems to work fine for some people, but unfortunately I have fallen into the sizable camp of people for whom it does not work. No matter where we place the base, we end up having calls get dropped - several times a day. It's very annoying and frustrating. Phone system was a pleasure to use at first, with initial address book setup, but in adding, modifying, or deleting addresses, many 'not-found' situations soon developed.

In addition, phones began to lockup when attempting to retrieve Voice Mail messages.

Removing all phones' batteries and recharging all phone simultaneously had no effect in resolving problems.
