BeerTender® Model B90 delivers the perfect pour, while featuring a volume indicator, so you know just how much beer is remaining. It also has temperature ready light, which indicates when the beer inside reaches 38°Fcool, in every sense of the word. Krups, the world-wide leader of small appliances, and Heineken, the leader in European premium imported beer, have partnered together to create the ultimate beer-drinking experience at home. Compatible with the Heineken DraughtKeg and the Heineken Premium Light DraughtKeg, this beautifully designed beer-tap system features a silent cooling system that delivers constant and consistent cooling, keeping the 5L keg at an ideal cool temperature. Simple to operate, just place a pre-cooled Heineken DraughtKeg into the machine, position the keg's plastic tube into the spout, close the lid, and it's ready to go. Inserting a keg takes less than 15 seconds. Even more, the unit automatically pressurizes the keg, releasing Co2 every time the tap opens, to ensure the beer remains fresh for up to 30 days--plus it allows for a crisp, quality beer with Heinekens' signature head of foam and trademark "bite." Other highlights include an LED display with a volume indicator and temperature indicator; as well as a detachable pour handle, detachable draw spout, and a removable tray for easy cleanup. - Great idea, less than ideal implementation
I was very excited to receive the Beertender as a gift. That feeling soon faded as it was nearly impossible to draw a beer without huge amounts of foam, the system is also not able to maintain the desired temperature and if the mini-keg is not completely cooled in advance it takes days to cool to a temperature that is even drinkable. (45 degrees) I would not recommend this product.

The beertender is fun, but it should explain to you that everytime you
change a "keg", you need a new hose. That was kind of a disappointment,
because I would have ordered extra hoses to save on shipping.

ALas.....it seems I as many of the early adopters are learning the pain of the KRUPS BEERTENDER.

I was very excited for this product and my girlfriend bought one for me for my birthday in APRIL 2008.
THe product is well designed and works well when it works.
Problem is...I only used it 2x...and the unit stopped cooling.

This product performs as advertised, and is a great addition to the bar of any beer lover. The first part of a new keg is a bit foamy, but this goes away as the beer is consumed. It takes a while to reach it's green light (optimal operating temperature) even with a can straight from the fridge, but it keeps the beer at perfect drinking temp. I would highly recommend this item.

I received my Beertender as a gift from my wife and was initially quite thrilled. Unfortunately it did not cool properly. I contacted Krups customer service and was told they would immediately email me a shipping authorization to return the item for repair. After 5 weeks and 3 or 4 telephone calls I finally received the shipping authorization. I immediately shipped the item and called after a few days to follow up.
