I bought this camera to my dad for his birthday and I had to try it. I was amazed with the quality and features this camera has and its size. I took some picture in NYC using the HIGH ISO and the photos were with just a few noise. I took pictures of my girlfriend's cats and they were awesome. Also I took it to a big party and the quality in a dark disco was awesome. And finally I used it to take pictures and record the F1 GP the shots quality were good too. Well this camera seemed amazing at first. It took clear pictures most of the time. But as i started to use it more and in different kinds of lighting that you can forget taking a decent picture after sundown. The image stabilization is poor and you have to fight the camera to focus on up close objects clearly.

Love this camera. Its easy to use with great features. The smile button snaps the picture when it detects a smile...wow it actually works. This should make those Christmas pictures perfect. I also love the easy button...great pics no thought to it!! Finally you experts out there there are enough settings available to you to customize your shots.
One thing I forgot to mention the wide angle feature to fit the whole scene in should come in handy on my upcoming trip.
