Certainly a lot of card games on this! I only purchased it for the Bridge game, which is quite good. I can't attest to the others

This is a pretty good game for the Mac; it's a card game, so you get pretty much what you expect. There is a nice selection of games, so you can switch around if you get tired of one. The downside to it is some of the cornball elements like cheesy characters that want to talk and give bad one liners during game play. Fortunately you can disable that. I recenly bought this software mostly for playing Bridge. I was very disappointed. The program is deficient inthe following important areas:
does not provide interpretation of bidding
does not give any hints for bidding
if you made a mistake in playing it has no way of correcting it
does not show cards of all players at the end of the game for review
There is no auto play to finish last few tricks when you know the outcme certain

I like the Hoyle a lot. Although I bought it for practice in bridge bidding, I'm getting sucked in to the other addictive games as well. Including (can you believe) "Go Fish". I'm not enthusiastic about the characters that make up the fellow players, but you can change them, and also turn off the sound in most instances. And the Hoyle is quite a value.

got it basically to learn bridge, but unfortunately the bidding process is not accurate according to others I know that play bridge. there are many other games included which i haven't really tried...
