This product does all I expected of it. It sprays an even pattern and does so consistently. The rechargable battery seems to never run down.
I have never used the back pack feature and I don't know that the back pack harness would be that confortable. Plus the unit, even when empty is fairly heavy, so with four gallons of liquid it would be pretty heavy.

I bought the Hudson NeverPump Bak-Pak Rechargeable Sprayer to spray Superdeck Cleaner and Brightener on my Tahoe house and decks prior to staining them. This was a huge job and the sprayer worked perfect. Using a hand pump sprayer would have taken forever, as well as it would have been dangerous at the top of a 28-foot ladder trying to pump the thing. I probably could have used the Hudson Sprayer to spray the stain as well but an airless sprayer is more efficient for a big job. I recommend only ... Read More

The spray valve either was cracked during delivery or cracked very easily when tighten. Bottom line the unit is very heavy, does not spray very far and the plastic spray components are prone to easy breakage. Although I really wanted a battery powered unit I returned the unit and purchase a hand pump model (it works great). I do believe Hudson is a reputable company as they quickly processed my return and refunded my money.

I use this unit commercially, have had it about 6 weeks now - has worked just great. Nice product for the cost.

I bought Hudson Never Pump Bak-Pak Sprayer a few weeks ago. It is very powerful tool that allows to spray my entire backyard 0.5 acre on one battery charge. It powerful enough to spray my fruit trees up to the top. I like it. I gave 4 stars because of a heavy weight of the sprayer. Also I have to say that Northern Tool and Equipment store where I bought the sprayer has very good customer service and you can be sure that you can get any help including goods exchange with no questions asked.
