When I purchased this product, I had a resident groundhog in my garage. I had tried blocking access to the hole he had burrowed through my wall, but he just knocked aside whatever i used to block it. I looked into having a pest control agency come out and remove the groundhog, but they wanted to charge $75 and would kill the animal after they removed him. 3 groundhogs and one skunk have been caught in about two weeks using the havahart trap. (The skunk was released back onto my property, the groundhogs were moved to public land more than 5 miles from their oroginal home.)

Trap delivered without any external packaging and was all bent up and missing a piece, but I fixed it up. Only took a day and I had my first catch, an Opossum. Two days later, a Raccoon. Easy to clean and reuse. Secure with the rascally Raccoon inside.

I set up the trap in the morning and caught a groundhog that day. I then set up the trap the following weekend, and that night I caught a racoon. The trap is so easy to let the animal free, you come nowhere near the animal. I would highly recommend this to anyone with a pest problem with a larger animal.
