Satisfactory, competent shaver. Well made, comfortable and solid-feeling. Gives a good shave in an average amount of time. Trimmer is unusually efficient. Can shave using its battery or plugged into wall, if you are negligent and let the battery discharge. One disappointment: Although you can briefly rinse the shaver (unplugged, of course!) to get rid of clippings, it is apparently not designed for shaving in the shower, as some electrics are. Looks like a cheap shaver! Sounds like a cheap shaver! Feels like a cheap shaver! Cost like a cheap shaver!Shaves like a HIGH PRICE shaver! Nice and close for me!Love it! THe trimmer on it stinks! But I am HAPPY with it!

This shaver is doing an amazing job. I have had several different electric razors and for the money, the MS2-390 is by far the best. I have even ordered another for my picky brother-in-law!!

I have been using this razor every day for a little over one month. I did not try any other razors before buying this one. I relied on Consumer Reports that,although another shaver was rated a little better than this one, one should buy this one as it was $110 dollars cheaper. They rated it a BEST BUY. I have been satisfied with its performance and speed. I can also recommend it for someone looking to buy a men's shaver.

This foil shaver was rated a "Best Buy" in Consumer Reports, but I found it less effective than the old rotary electric I'd been using. It misses numerous whiskers, even after repeated strokes. The charging-alert light comes on sooner than expected, and it was only after receiving the shaver that I learned its battery is not replaceable, which means that when it dies the shaver is finished.
