Obviously this is a beginner horn. It is a nice horn with decent slotting. The standard 7c mouthpiece is strong silver plated, and works great, but it does need extreme scrubbing every day after play. Normally I'll just go rinse them, but this one needs a scrub. There are 2 braces on main lead, which is just that much more attention to detail. Some issues that I have with the horn, is that it is only free-blowing to an extent. This is a student trumpet, but I was amazed at the fine quality of this band instrument. Suzuki has been the worlds largest producer of educational musical instruments for 55 years.
The roadie case is rugged aluminum outside, plush velour-covered custom-formed foam inside. It has spaces for an additional mouthpiece and cleaning kit.
