Its built strong, and sturdy!.Nice hard plastic legs that open with 3-clips for short to long. I think the coolest thing about this tripod is the dovetail plate.! So cool that when you release the pin you can swivel 360 degrees, up/down, right/left! This comes in very HANDY!
One or 2 small drawbacks: #1-The center pole that holds the camera, slips! If you put any pressure at all on it.
Not very taught. this pole goes up & down for length and has a red clip, to hold it, but it still ... Read More

This Tripod is quite a step up from the tripods I've used in the past.
It is constructed very well and all of the locking clamps are very secure.
The Ball Head is a really neat idea but is taking some time getting used to, but I think it'll work out alright. I take alot of segmented photos for panoramas and linning up each consecutive shot can be a little tricky, but over-all it's better than other tripods with the leveling bubbles which more often than not were rather frustrating. Great tripod. Very versatile. Snap off plate is easy to use and locks back in securely.

With an interesting hexagonal leg profile, an average ball head, a decent carrying bag all in a fairly light package, this tripod may be consider by the owners of a SLR-like or point-and-shoot cameras who want a quick buy. But again, if you care about how much weight you carry with you and care less about quality than practicality, why would you spend over $100 for something significantly heavier than your camera. Needless to say that who has an SLR and is looking for a tripod, they should keep looking. ... Read More

This tripod is the best ever. Its in budget price, the ball-head is perfect for free adjusting, works fast. It expands into huge-ness. Considering that I'm 6'4" and it levels almost exactly to my eye. :). The bag is sturdy, and the tripod itsself is sturdy. Only it gets wobbly when you extend it fully. I think the description of the height is a bit wrong... But i havent measured my self. The only flaw is that the head is shaking, but it can be fastned with a 6-sided screwdriver.
