- Another Tearjerker
This book is as good as all of Nick Sparks' works. It doesn't have a conventional ending (which isn't a surprise with Sparks) and leaves you guessing. Most if not all of his books are the ones I can never put down, this is another great one and highlights tough decisions people have to make and leave you wondering what could have happened if...

From my prospective, I give this book a 10. It was absolutely beautiful, powerful, and moving. It was full of desire, love, heart-break, regret, and so many emotions that I just couldn't put this book down. I read it in no time because I had to read about Savannah and John's happy ending, but when it didn't happened, I was so lost for words. This was my first book I have read from Sparks. And I loved it! I am now looking for all of them at used book stores!

Great character building. Story pulls the reader in throughout the entire book. Best book I've read in a long time.

Overall, I enjoyed this book. It was a quick, easy read. It kind of had a boring start but definitely picked up a bit later. I loved John and Savannah as a couple but I knew once he went back to Germany, it would be a struggle for them to stay together. I will say I never truly got a grasp of the love between John and Savannah in the end. It was so wishy washy. I understand their logic but it still didn't fit right. The ending was typical but I still found it to be an average/above average book.
