In "Good Omens" it was clear that this chapter was Neil Gaiman and that chapter was Terry Brooks. With "InterWorld" there was no such clear distinction. Lacking obvious Gaiman-ness in the prose was a disappointment to me. However, his influence showed through clearly in the ideas and plot devices. - A compelling and imaginative tale
I've been a fan of Gaiman for some time now, and Interworld was a title that intrigued me from the start. The story was well constructed and completed a wonderful introduction to a strange multiverse of characters and struggles.

Although the basic idea was interesting (multiple versions of one character across the multi-verse banding together into an organization to fight evil), the book itself was only so-so - definitely not up to Mr. Gaiman's usual standards.

This review is for the audiobook version of the story.

Yes, the story was a little campy and played mightily amongst the clichés of both science fiction and fantasy, but generally I thought this was delightful.
